In the unfolding of interiority, for a brief moment of making-visible,
I can generate a moment of wholeness.
Using the fragment, I gaze—as if through a keyhole—at the primal image; surely, this cannot be a real place.
We soon find ourselves, so to speak, within my ribcage, diagonally to the left beneath my
heart.
Because a description can ultimately never transcend the very concept
of being a description.
Can you remember it exactly the way I do?
My artistic practice engages with the repetition of my own personal memories. They have inscribed themselves as "primal memories" and recur as I externalize and examine them. I call these transfers "fragments." Fiction, text, installation, and image move between longing, loss, control, shame, and documentation—within spaces that are doubled, featuring double doors.
Klara Marlene Fischer works and lives in Leipzig. From 2020 till 2026 they studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Leipzig in the Painting Class of Prof. Kerstin Drechseland since 2024 in the class Joachim Blank (installation and space). From 2025-2026 they went to an Erasmus in Vienna in the Sculpture and Space class of Hans Schabus. Klara Marlene Fischer lives and works in Leipzig, Germany.
